Stockport County 0 Blyth Spartans 1

    Bad day at the office.
What a bonkers afternoon elsewhere in this league though.
Top 3 all lost, top spot changed hands a few times as the goals flew in at Altrincham 5 Chorley 3 .
So it’s as you were,SCFC still top by a point with 3 games to go,Chorley away next week.

Sad story about Greg Tansey (ex Stockport player) johncorrigan https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47915640

Any experts on non-league football ? As I understand it, two teams are promoted to the National League from National League North and two from National League South. Does anyone know what happens now that the four teams relegated from the National League are all from the south, three of them even south of the Thames ! Do a couple of those have to go into the National League North ?

I think teams that are borderline (midlands to say East Anglia) can end up either North or South depending on who has been promoted or relegated.
Oxford City have been in both in recent years and I remember Lowestoft being in National League North one season.

          Edit

The large number of teams in the SE means that the NLS is very southern. There are very few teams in the SW. Do any sides switch from S to N from one season to the next? Looking to the end of this season Oxford, Gloucester and St Albans could be considered North!

Yep, Bracknell is in the north apparently.

Great win for Saints in a forum Derby today, which with the Cardiff result must have us withing touching distance of safety. What an amazing difference Rabbit Ralf has made, in part through giving kids like Valery , Bednarek and Sims their chance.
Will be interesting to see if he gives some of our big money flops ( Boufal, Carillo, Elyanoussi ) a chance next season.

Not sure if Wolves are in the hunt to avoid the Europa league or not.

conference North sounds like a fantastic fight to the finish, lets hope SCFC come out all guns blazing at Chorley.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like Oxford and Gloucester are bound for the north again then ?

A bit of football trivia for you - next season will be the first season since 1960-1 that Lincoln City and Ipswich Town will play in the same division!

I never understand this need for football players to take their shirts off they they score. And what is that wearing masks all about?

As far as I'm aware, they're still stealing fish and chips from visitors to Whitby.

                                ...pasties in St Ives.

The Cardiff match will be a six pointer.
