Nae goals in the Sainty derby today...one point for the Buddies in the six-pointer...fourth from the foot. Mighty fine result for the southern Sainties this afternoon.

Mighty fine indeed JC. After feeble effort in the first hour last time out, Saints seem to have continued the improvement they showed in the last 30 mins against WHU into todays game, and ir sounds like we were deserved winners. But away form hasn’t really been a problem the last few years, so picking up a few points against Palace and Spuds at SMS over the holiday period will be a challenge. if our defence can continue modest signs of improvement, a decent second half of the season may yet be possible.

A very decent point for the Buddies today. What’s going on with the Jambos though?

Braving brass monkey weather I was at Mill Farm on Saturday only to see a dominant ACF Fylde throw away a two goal lead to only draw against Yeovil Town!

Just down the road, high flying Blackpool were losing by a single goal at home to Shrewsbury.

I went to the local pub with a good friend on Saturday, to watch the Man City/Leicester City game. We're still good friends - just.

Well deserved win for Saints at Stamford Bridge I thought. We made great use if the posession we did have, looking consistently dangerous, and restricted Chelsea to very few chances . Picking a consistent back four is paying dividends, and rotation is showing that we have a decent range of attacking options. Lovely second goal too.

A bit of a demolition job by Liverpool on Leicester tonight. Even good sides can crumble in front of this Liverpool side.

Good to see the Saints ascending the table ts - good win for you today. I think the Owls need some coaching in time management - by now they should know that the average length of matches is around 98 minutes - must be the fourth time this season they’ve gone ahead after going behind only to lose it in injury time.
