Vieuxtemps - 3 Fantasias on Themes from Verdi's I Lombardi, Ernani and Luisa Miller
Finnissy - Verdi transcriptions (in two books ? )
Berio studied at Verdi conservatory, Milan
Liszt paraphrases etc. on eight different Verdi works (according to wiki)

Actually Vieuxtemps is the odd man out - I was hovering between pieces called "Fantasias" on Verdi themes or those defined as or called "Transcriptions" ( though Finissy's might well be regarded as fantasies - they are wonderful!) & got a bit mixed up

Berio 'transcribed' Verdi in 8 Romances for tenor & orchestra.

Whatever, as they say...........and whenever you feel so inclined mercia

                              an intriguing question

BWV 225 is the motet Singet dem Herrn, but this may well be irrelevant
