Dust-to-Digital is directed by the husband-wife team of Lance and April Ledbetter in Atlanta, Georgia. Dust-to-Digital began its mission of creating access to hard-to-find music by producing high-quality books, box sets, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records.
My question being, if you could only get one, which one would it be??

Have to say, Global, that I love what I've heard of 'Listen All Around: The Golden Age of Central and East African Music', so probably will go for that if you're buying. But the Mississippi Collection looks like a really fabulous treat...especially liked the sound made on 'Bottle Blowing' by Louis Dotson.
Jonathan Ward of the excellent Excavated Shellac site is on Music Planet right now… and, at last, a genuine reason to listen.
He has a new collection available on Dust-to-Digital.
extraordinary if the tracks played on Music Planet are anything to go by..

Great stuff - too bad it was a repeat, but one well worth listening to again, Global, and glad to be reminded of Ward's blog. He sounds a wee bit like Joe Boyd, I think. Wonder how Joe's getting on with his book on the history of World Music?

ha - I thought it sounded a bit familiar. Oh well. Yes, he reminded me of JB too.
