    I revise.

    There's definitely Sagittarius in there.

    Mine's due just before Christmas.

There's loads of bleedin' Virgo in there, though, too - lovely people, I like 'em, but oh to carry all the worrying.

Happy to you, S_A...hope it was, and continues to be, most enjoyable!

I remember hearing Joni on the radio all the time in the 1970s when I was a teenaged gasoline station pump jockey.

No doubt filling up the odd big yellow taxi!

At an improv session I participated in on Wednesday, the others agreed to play "Yellow Taxi" - the only tune they knew!

Surely they knew ‘Both Sides Now’ or ‘Woodstock’!

Thanks, Joni. Fondly remembered 1970 BBC concert with an exquisitely rendered self-accompanied Klavierlied: For Free

                    I didn't ask!

Perhaps I should have said: knew how to play.

I love the version on Joni's live album from '74 with L.A. Express, 'Miles of Aisles', gurney...'Real Good for Free'

Well, I had to listen to both versions.

"Odyous of olde been comparisonis, And of comparisonis engendyrd is haterede" well, quite. Or, as I have also seen written 'comparisons are odorous'

I prefer the one gurnenanz posted - a little less worldly in her delivery, a little finer piano sound. And, to be honest, reminds me of when I first heard her.

I’ve just found a minidisc taken from cassette tape of her 1983 Radio 1 concert from Wembley - not brilliant sound as I recorded it at LP4 speed.

Archive on 4 on BBC R4 has a programme on Joni at 8pm this evening:
Ann Powers explores Joni Mitchell’s impact on her fans and on songwriting.

Thanks for helping bump this item up Belgrove; I've mentioned it on the Jazz and the Experimental etc sub-forums.
