Ahead of Joni's 80th on the 7th November, BBC Radio 6 had a Joni fest through the night on Tuesday morning, including early Radio One sessions from '68, and a bunch of other stuff.

I was listening to this bbc 1970 job a few day ago....the lead into Ballad of Woodstock is only less than 30 secs long, I wish she had used the chords etc to make something much bigger expansive....(took my first girlfriend to it 1970 [Me 17, she 15] we walked all afternoon , and I managed a kiss after about 3 hrs then walked into Bristol from Ashton Court to cinema by Colston Hall and saw Woodstock.)....25min 45sec in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-he9mzrjCU
