Another year, another birthday and Mrs C had the latest of the Joni Archives (Vol 4) waiting. 
It takes us through '76-'80. Great hearing alternative versions - I've been particularly enjoying the early 'Hejira' demos which include early versions of songs that ended up on the album as well as some which eventually appear on 'Don Juan's Reckless Daughter'. Here, Joni links 'Coyote' with 'Don Juan' and how wonderfully they go together with just Joni and the guitar.
