Thanks for that jc, I’ll think on and have a listen. Van’s last few CDs are really good - his gruff voice combining with some great musicians, not least Joey the keyboards guy!

It may not be saying much, cloughie, but it's the best interview I've heard with Van. Really interesting. Cerys handles it well. Some good tunes in there. First part is half an hour in to the show; then the second half of the interview starts halfway through the show. If you like Van, I think you'll enjoy this. Cerys played Cyprus Avenue - Mrs C, me and our good pal went for a walk up and down the Avenue last weekend - felt good!
