Seems the Nigerian authorities, so long his nemesis, now wish to honour the memory of Fela Kuti by backing a museum in the former kalakuta commune to afrobeat's daddy.

We went Neruda's house in Valparaiso - fascinating and bit quirky. Great views down over the town to the Pacific - especially from his bedroom. Can be checked out here:

I think it was something about the aspect of the Fela museum that somehow reminded me of Pablo's place.
