OK my hand is up. I'd only heard of Lol Coxhill's name, never seen him/heard any of his work before this thread and of course his death.

I'm with you there amateur51 - I had heard his name a lot more than any of his material, but have been really enjoying the musings about Lol (particularly SA's memories) - also enjoying the pieces which paint a picture of an ordinary guy with a great creativity. I loved the Walrus version - reminded me of the family singing it in the car where the kids loved to sing knickers and bloody really loud.
