    Donald 'Duck' Dunn

I notice that the death of the great bassist from Booker T and the MGs has been announced - fantastic player!
Bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn, who played on hits including Respect, Soul Man and Green Onions, dies in Japan, hours after two concerts in Tokyo.

I'm sure there'll be a few tributes coming up to DD. Huey got it underway on 6 today with a bunch of tracks from Donald's catalogue in memory of the man.
It's a Sunday of jams with your boy Huey and guest JD McPherson.

Sad news. Nice tribute. It is impossible to argue against Stax and he was a major contributor.
