Reckon we'll be hearing a fair old bit of Juana Molina over the next few weeks as she is touring UK.
Actually, it's a joke to call it a tour - 2 gigs, one in London, one in Manch (in the rain no doubt).
I first heard of her in 2003 (ish) courtesy of Charlie G. who played this haunting track on whatever Wo3 was called then (Wo3?)
I like the idea of her as much as the reality...
And so on to Lopa's Wo3. BBC Playlister score? 12/34. I suspect this is going to be the way it goes - no merit in obscurity but even the Long Tail of the internet doesn't go that far. At least they've added Wo3 to the Playlister posse.
Nynke - just goes to show that you shouldn't put music in a bag...I would never have guess that carried the deadly fado tag. Good guest.
And did Lopa play the best track off Red Hot + Fela ? there's only 1 way to find out...
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
[caution - contains language which some viewers may find objectionable]
[and for those with a low boredom threshold for that sort of thing, music becomes worth your attention at about 14m 50s in]
nothing particularly edgy though...

Global,
This new Playlister thing. I presume somebody gains from it ?
Any clues ?
And love the stones for handbrake in your latest arresting picture !

It helps drive more traffic to YouTube/Spot/Deezer so that's why they iike it.
Here's Ms Sawyer who doesn't grind any axes
The BBC's new Playlister feature is a boon for music fans, but might be less popular with some musicians, writes Miranda Sawyer
So, Paul it is just another example of global philanthropy from our great national broadcasting company.

Thanks for the reassurance Global. I will sleep far more easily now. Apropos of nowt I've started ticking those playlist adds.
There could a league table created.
So far, 2 x FT shows - 2 ticks
1 MR show - 11 ticks
Clearly that Mesut Ozil was an inspired signing ...
