    Lenny and Jarvy

Listening to Jarvis' Sunday Supp this afternoon, I found myself thinking that a lot of people could have made a right mess of interviewing L Cohen. Not Jarvis - he was relaxed and so was Lenny. Needless to say, lots of fine music, some good laughs and interesting chat, not least Cohen's admission that he was envious of Chuck Berry cos he's never written as good a line as 'Roll over Beethoven, Tell Tchaikovsky the news.' Most of the interview action took place in the 30 mins-90 mins portion of the show but there was plenty more Len gems scattered throughout....and a few bits of Peel in there too.

From the look of the photie there was a height differential in there, but it didn't seem to matter.

    JC is around 6'2"
Age has shrunk LC down from his former 5'8"

I thought very interesting interview, Jarvis, obviously an admirer of Len, not overawed by him did a very good job. The last half hour, after the interview, showed what you should or not do with LC's songs and how his influence works.

I think the BBC has training courses for most things, eg double knotting each lace for every kind of terrain you might face, but do they
          offer interview coaching classes ?
