Yes, I liked that but not that deconstructed cello thing that droned on for hours.i say NO to Christopher Fox re:play.
MR allowed the occasional mistake, needs to watch our for self-conscious hippery.
"just had a twee tweet from the Cereal Killers in Shoreditch to say they were enjoying some tea-smoked duck feet Krispos whilst listening to that last one"
Like Cam and his porker, beyond parody...

Had never heard of these guys before and they are definitely my kind of thing - but then so, ahem, was The Big Breakfast.

Stick Mr GongGong's mind maps in their heads and that is a great recipe for how the whole of society should be organised.

I really couldn't be more enthusiastic about this concept if I tried - and believe me, a lot of my years have been very trying.

Had a listen to the Max half-hour 2015 round-up this morning for breakfast, and what a lovely 30 mins it was with live Blick in there among others. But that Trio Medieval version of the 'Song of Songs' that finished the show was a total gem.
Max Reinhardt's selection features music including Anna Meredith and Sierra Ferrell.

All the very best for 2016 to all.

I really enjoyed the Zea track that evening but don't beat the original...actually not much does.

Max was fully kitted out in vinyl last night for his darlin' of a show last night
Adventures in music, ancient to future: Max Reinhardt presents an all-vinyl special.

...top tunes aplenty but few better than this delight from Glen Francis...short but oh so sweet.

A Stewart Lee Mixtape greets us tonight.

Yup, some good stuff on there last night, well the first few pieces anyway.

Really enjoyed the first one, link over on the Funkpoparoll thread.

You've lost me there with that liverish comment. We'd have said the same whether there were 3 or 3 million readers or just 1.
Ah well, I'll just wait a couple of years for a response.

Been very light on Hildegard Von Bingen lately on LJ, OP
You definitely need more 12th C visionary polymath nuns...

Or maybe just that Geeshie Wiley 'Last Kind Words' track. Nil desperandum :-)

Don't leave it so long OP - always a pleasure, never a chore. we'll keep on plugging. Who knows, you may even play some of my stuff from the 70's one of these days.
