Well that's kind of innovative CdaJ , radio on the telly.... You've reminded me off to see some live Jazz (with World Music overtones and hopefully undertones too) tonight;may be posting on your forum later

Never tire of that Ebo Taylor & Uhuru-Yenzu 'Love and Death' - very enjoyable hour and a half, I thought - and that Lincolnshire Poacher was indeed creepy.

There just seems something of the pastiche about him...still some good stuff, particularly enjoyed Peggy Seeger & The Runaway Orch. & Whip of the Wind.

As for the Conet Project, some of it has been removed from the Internet(well, from Google search results) via a Cease & Desist order issued from the Uk.

                        Victor Oscar Delta Delta!

Everyone likes a good conspiracy theory...

He's like the enthusiastic young scout leader, keen to encourage his charges (us) to enjoy his choices. I'm catching up with last Thursday and was blown away by the opener - Ecoutes Ma Melodie by Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou from the Skeletal essence of Voodoo funk - think I'll be checking out a bit more of that.

The young scout leader who's been dropping the odd tab of acid on the quiet perhaps but, of course:
It's all accordin' to how your boogaloo situation stands, y'understand?
Oldies favorite memory "Wolfman Jack Signing Off to 'Nothing Takes The Place of You.'" Another record selection from the Oldies Jukebox at www.fhs1961.com

and, although I know you're not a huge fan, JC, interesting to note that FT mirrored NL with the old TB there...
(or Bum Tickley as he is oft known in some parts)

My difficulty with Fiona is I find myself easily put off by her often choosing the off-switch, whereas I'm more likely to hang in with the Nick, and certainly am with Max.

Thanks for the fine bit of the Wolfman, but that Buckley caught me right out there, Global - I enjoyed that a lot more than I thought I would - I was more of an Ackman back in the days, mostly down to a great pal who was a DA fanatic. I love those big landscapes he drew.

I see that Nick's bringing his breathy enthusiasm back to the LJ mikes tonight - you can see how he got the Verity gig really - we're promised Japanese sampledelics tonight - delicious with toast.
