Lee Scratch Perry RIP
Sad news that Lee Scratch Perry has died in Jamaica at the age of 85.
I've been listening to LSP for many years.
He has left behind a huge body of work, a lot of it experiments with a very wide variety of people.
Probably he will be remembered in association with Bob Marley, and he did play a big role in the development of Marley's music but he was a true original and one of the all-time reggae and dub greats
It's too tricky to pick a track just now, but I'm sure others will have favourite tracks and memories.
This is pretty much how he looked the one and only time I saw him though...
