" The programme is particularly popular with single men. "It's on late and we both have these smoky voices, so it's created a weird response," admits Sharp, who would be no disappointment in the flesh to fans of her voice. "Lots of letters from men in their 40s, which is odd."

A nice Finnish lady, Elina Lajunen, gave me a tango cd she was associated with, while were stuck on a runway in Montevideo, back in August.
Should I send it on to the relevant LJ DJ ?

MAK's more likely to give it a spin.

Fancy laying down some Xmas trax yet?

I've never written a letter to anyone at the BBC.

I might have sent a photo of my genitals.... there's been so many I can't remember.

Just how many genitals do you have, Ian?

Brilliant. I was wondering if Ian was going to have a photo for his profile. Currently it just says member.

Ok, When I relocate it from the loft I'll send northwards. It sounded pretty good to me.

                              Thursday 9/12 LJ

Was this FT's idea of a joke?

Or the closest she's going to get to promoting the intended UK Xmas No. 1?

Herbert Henck — Solo II from Second Series
John Cage – Sonatas and Interludes / Locations / Herbert Henck – Festeburger Fantasien, ECM 472 8282
                              followed by
                              Supersilent — 10.8
                              Supersilent 10, Rune Grammofon RCD2102

                              And how did she choose
Mahmoud Ahmed — Fetsum denq ledj nesh
as opposed to any other Ethiopian track (so many tracks, so little time) but a lot of the juxtapositions worked extremely well imho
Martin - I hope you were taking note...
