Thanks Global. I went away and dug out my 'Madagascar, Pays Antandroy' record which I completely love, especially this Rimotsy singing technique. In this song Remanindry is playing the three-stringed lokanga fiddle. The track's called 'Vontsarotse (A Man's Name)'.
When I listen to this CD, pretty much always on my own, I feel like I'm listening to the very beginnings of music.Comment
