My daughter's lad gave me a shot of his Netflix password and I got to see the film the other night, at last. Really enjoyed it, particularly the sequences about Ginsberg and his desire to be a musician (felt for him when his poetry was cut from the later shows); the sequence about marriage between Baez and Bob...powerful stuff; and the totally crazed expression of McGuinn singing 'Heaven's Door' with Dylan; and of course the brief Joni section and the glorious version of 'Coyote'.
I did wonder what had ever happened to Scarlet Rivera. I wasn't aware of her after 'Desire' but I found this interesting Q&A she did earlier this year about her and His Bobness.

For me, one of the less savoury, dare I say creepy, characters encountered in the film was the Rolling Stone journalist, Ratso. I hear that at the age of seventy odds he has released his first ever record, which is just as creepy, where he appears to be trying to be the new Leonard Cohen. Apparently he wants everything!
