The other slightly annoying thing is that I have a photo of a cow pie somewhere - a real one that was cooked for us by the famously eccentric chef at The Greys Pub in Brighton - can't find it.
And the chef has retired.
I did eat it all though...then there's this of course:

thanks jc! i'm looking forward to it. nasrat seems blissfully free of these sort of problems http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLyE0...eature=related
are there any more radio progs celebrating jamaican independence btw?
iirc verity played calypso singer 'arrow' ....a song about slavery, from the early 60s ....some lyrics! did anyone else hear it? (although the 'mighty one' is from montserrat, not jamaica).

John,
In fact Duffy used to live just across the road from the DJ.

I've not reached that dizzy height as yet and have to go off in a few minutes - but if its a geofflikesmusic-a-like then its' bound to be a good 'un.
Global, you probably knew anyway but I've only just discovered, after being told by a mate in Watford, that M Gauthier is in town. Nantwich town in fact, on Saturday afternoon !
Gosh.

Not sure who was breathier on last night's LJ, Verity or Louis-Jean Cormier.
Loved the Jack McNeill & Charlie Heys but I was detecting a strange flavour of '67 Beatles in the Donald Hay / Mary MacMaster piece 'Aird Ranters' but perhaps I just ain't got off the Mystery Tour yet after last weekend, cos I heard '67 Fab4 again in the Sakamoto piece. Them lovable moptops just get everywhere!
