    >>does that mean that BH is the VS of R2?

    Oh yes.

Btw VS was the voiceover artist* for the Pathé News doc on BBC 4 tonight ( I daresay it was a repeat ! )
    Excellent performance, imo.

    * That was the description in the credits.

Yep I noticed that Paul - took me a wee minute to recognise the voice - she better get a move on if she's going to get to the LJ studio in time - could be a bit breathless by the start.

Not a hint of breathylessness, what a pro! Oddly she kicked off the programme with Caci Vorba whose latest release arrived
with me today for some reason. I'm going to send it packing up to Ardgour if one hasn't already been directed there.

        I'm trying to de-clutter !

Aw, and June Tabor and "Finisterre" - I know we don't do lists but that is definitely on the list I'm not doing.

I'm struggling with Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio's folk policy ...

More Watersons than Radio Clatterbridge. Less Spiers and Boden than 105 Uckfield FM. I've got all the detailed information on a really good wall chart and several lists.

I wonder, did Bob Cooney ever dent those charts ?

Erm, the baseball player, the builder in Chesterfield or the man of Godless reason?

I have obviously factored in some philosophical sprinklings from Michael - http://www.michaelcooney.com/MC1P013.html -

"Studs asked, "Is that a folk song?" Broonzy replied, "I ain’t never heard no horses sing it.""

.......It's ok officer. It took us four hours but we've found the suspect. He was a dangerous link in Gaughan's chain. Someone in Surrey has even alleged that he could have been broadcasting radically on Radio West Fife in 1953:

"For Freedom is a hardy plant, the more you tramp it down
The sweeter it will flower again in countryside and town
Its seeds are scattered on the wind and multiply their kind
That's why no matter where you go bold rebels there you'll find"

Now Radio Jackie - I mean, if they played Jackie Leven & Jackie Oates they're bound to have slipped JT in there somewhere, doncha think?

Yes, Paul, I might tune in for that one. Susy, the most recent, is local and I considered it momentarily. Then I realised that I hadn't actually spoken to anyone since 11 September 2010. And people round here only like Ketty Lester or Drum n Bass.

Radio Jackie are now in Tolworth Tower. The only song by JT they are likely to play is Downtown. I had the station sticker in my mini van in the days when they were pirates. Nice crossbones.

And it took the attention away from the "white sock black shoe" combination so ridiculed by friends the next notch up. Come to think of it, so did the furry dice and the nodding dog.
