I saw Kasse Mady live at the RNCM in Manchester a few years ago and there was a great atmospjere. Any of his albums are worth listening to and I will play some tracks later this evening in tribute

Sad news - first came to my attention on Kulanjan, the great record with Taj Mahal and Toumani Diabate. A great loss to Malian music.
