On KT's MP at the weekend the inaugural Global Encounters session between two musicians working remotely. This one was rabab player Qais Essar, an Afghani based in Arizona working alongside Korean Dasom Baek who plays various ancient Korean flutes, for example the Daegeum and Sogeum. It did sound very experimental - very pleasant sounds - I suppose this is fairly common now, especially since lockdown, for musicians to meet in the ether. Personally, I found it interesting rather than great, but will await to see what collaborations appear in the future.
