….to soften the blow, I have just booked a ticket to see The Dublin Legends at Redhill in March.
Bet they don't have them at Celtic Connections!
(I had asked the security man on the McDonalds door who barely spoke English the way to the Hexagon - confusion all round but he worked out what I meant when I said "the theatre" - two days later I realised Reading has the Hexagon and in Redhill it is the Harlequin - and having left unknowingly at the interval I saw him again and told him it had turned out well)

Apologies...I meant to post these two programmes from Celtic Connections but my computer's not working too great and I forgot.
A week left to have a look.

Originally posted by Lat-Literal View PostThank you JC. I have now watched them. LW III is in fine form. Good to hear the very wonderful songs by Graham Nash too. Julie Fowlis is an excellent presenter. The venue is also good. I am a bit surprised, though, that the programmes are so short and not entirely representative of the festival. The brand new BBC television station for Scotland starts tonight.

Originally posted by johncorrigan View PostYeah, I was disappointed at the lack of range of coverage, Lat. The new station is causing some major cynicism - their big launch this evening includes the opening episode of the new and final series of 'Still Game' - hardly earth shattering. BBC4's now channel 82 - bit harder to remember except it's next to 'Talking Pictures'.
