I love Ayarkhaan - remember this appearance from the Proms?

(I know it's the same song, but they look so great!) I reckon they take good care of their teeth.

            Yes.

They are slightly unnerving with it, though, John, aren't they or is that just how I feel?

(I did have the same sort of problem with Sparky's Magic Piano)

              Nothing idiosyncratic here:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Hey, Lat, they're priestesses of the Horse God...they're bound to be a bit scary...but in an alright way, I like to think.

Totally, Lat...by the way, have you heard Brian Wilson's take on Sparky that came from an EP contained in the Beach Boys' wonderful 'Holland' record? Creepy, but nice!
The bonus EP of the Beach Boys' 1973 LP Holland, entitled Mount Vernon and Fairway (A Fairy Tale), was based on the intersection where the Love family lived ...

That's rather wonderful and spot on. Not sure if I have heard it before. If so, I didn't know who or what it was and it was a very long time ago. Thanks very much.

                  Used to sing it.

Very apt in the context of the daily threads too.

                    Another weird day........

After ages, have finally received information that takes our family not only out of London to Suffolk but away to Fort William. That would be Fort William, Bengal, India. Might be a great, great, great grandfather. I do need to check. Certainly born Bermondsey, but it could explain a lot. The man appears to have travelled there as an engineer with a company that made technology to prevent custom stamp fraud. Only while listening to the Beach Boys did I discover that Fort William, Bengal was effectively in the 1700s the Black Hole of Calcutta. He died there in 1850 so it's later. I guess he may have been murdered after the Battle of Gujrat. Another semi-cockney relative - many ended up in the workhouse - also lived in London with a woman who gave birth in the early 1800s to one child in Egypt and another in Paris. Wow. So just possibly Clare Balding eat your heart out. You are not having exoticism all to yourself. I have been absolutely determined against all previous and sensible evidence to the contrary to prove than I'm not at all white and this is a most unexpected but very welcome turn.

The Nooran sisters live in an environment that I won't confess to understanding - but looks a bit X Factor-ish?
With streaming ads for almond drops and candles, visual effects whizzing by. I wonder what Punjab Chhota Champ 2 actually is? Attracted a mere 5.8m views on YT...well, that performance deserves it.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Next, we must have a major pipa star as adjudged by the Chinese Cheryl. This sounds cynical but it isn't meant to be. It might just be the way forward, given that these young women who were trained by folk of considerable if impoverished musical heritage got their break on MTV's "Sound Trippin'" and "Coke Studio". I would say that "Chhota" means "Junior" but what do I know? It could mean something else in this context. The big test will be whether they can make the floor in a tent vibrate upwards through the bodies of everyone there so that they all shake wildly. Here, they will require lessons from the Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali group and support from large numbers of supporting vocalists.
