Not sure there's much French about this except for the name of the tune. 'La danse du bonheur' turned up in the 7o'clock mixtape last night by John McLaughlin and Shakti. Ideal for un mercredi français I thought, in a worldy kind of way.
Beginning reminds me of Sheila Chandra, or perhaps she reminds me of them.

I was on my own train re my recent Marra/Janes on another thread so it wasn't prompted.
Maybe that is a good thing about them.
