I've been fair enjoying Bob Dylan's 'Theme Time Radio Hour' on whiskey this week. Not surprising to hear that his old pals, The Clancy Brothers, make an appearance in there with a great story from them about whiskey being their song arranger. Anyway, Bob played 'The Parting Glass' by them, and then explained that it was, of course, a Scottish song.
