      Abelardo Barossa - Baruca Mangua. To my mind the definitive version of this song; perhaps to put it another way - my favourite. Alberto Barossa was the first "lead singer of the song" to be recognized as such by the Cuban public.

        Rizwan Ali Khan and Muazzam Ali Khan are the torchbearers of Qawwali music – a Sufi tradition that spans five centuries. The nephews of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the brothers cross cultural, language and religious barriers to spread the devotional music of the Sufi mystics – taking audiences to a new spiritual dimension.

        Part of the Bradford 2025 City of Culture - for one night only on May 14th.

        Just in case you can't make it here is a live performance of the ensemble playing a track, Yaar Da Muhallah from their new album At the Feet of the Beloved, which is released on 14th March.
