One of Scotland's finest folk voices, Dundee's Rod Paterson, died at the weekend after a battle with cancer. I often thought he was so much underappreciated, going somewhat under the radar but he had a unique and distinctive voice. For me, he was as fine an interpreter of the songs of Robert Burns as Scotland has produced. Here he is with the Transatlantic Sessions' folks doing his wonderful take on 'Auld Lang Syne'.
