Aston Barrett, the wonderful bass player with Bob Marley and the Wailers has died after a long illness. As well as the Wailers, he started out with the Upsetters backing Lee Perry and played with Burning Spear.
Apparently in forthcoming Bob Marley biopic he is played by one of his sons. The Family Man apparently had over forty children.
