What crackin' Friday evening entertainment. Petula was a good guide and what a wonderful array of old French performers they rolled out and there was plenty fabulous old film. Well worth a watch, I thought.

Very true, BR - Juliette Greco is sensational no matter the age, I found myself thinking. Think I might take the BBC4 invitation and see how many I can get on the playlister. I've used Playlister a few times in the last year or so but in general have found it a bit frustrating. There always seems to be a fair few tracks missing/unavailable. I may have uncovered a reason. Yesterday I thought I'd try to create a playlist from Friday's 'Chanson Francais' programme but playlister shut me out because I'd forgotten my password...well, that is, it wasn't what I thought it was. So I thought I'd take the time and try to manually transfer the data into Spotify but even my rusty rudimentary Franglais realised that what the BBC4 playlist said was played was often something slightly different.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, if you use Spotify and want to listen, here's a playlist from Friday.
