This effectively separated out the essential Euclidean from the axioms.

The Dora Bryan track was, of course, all about the Kolmogorov–Smirnov nonparametric test for the equality of continuous, one-dimensional probability distributions. After a quick bowl of cornflakes, I modified it to serve as a goodness of fit test.
Did you put quark on your cornflakes? If so, I hope you kept your tvorog separate from your hadron's.
One must be so careful when typing that word.

Global - My hadrons have been separated from wider life longer than I wish or care to recall.

On the Phantom Poster, yes, mysterious. The selections look a bit like a combination of all of us plus there are one or two that none of us would have chosen. When I continued with the cat theme last night, they weren't there so I have gone back and put in a couple of tracks to link it up. I was quite intrigued to discover Harry Manx incidentally. Unusual mix of influences there.

So it's like someone has been listening to it and decided to chip in - which is just great

Yes, and another funny thing, ever since they brought in the 10 hour limit, I have been getting additional credits. So I would be down to, say, 3 hours 55 minutes and then the next time I switched on the computer, it would be back to 5 hours and 47.

Until now. I only have an hour and a half left so I'm going to have to choose more wisely. Still, it will give me more scope for listening to the radio programmes. Just to flag up though that it won't be a sign from me that I don't intend to continue.

John, Global, many thanks for #490,#491.
The links provided were in themselves worthy of a Late Junction Special.
It was a nice tribute to the anniversary of the Titanic tragedy.

A couple of days ago, my Spotty credits went up mysteriously from 39 minutes to 3 hours and 6 minutes. So I left it - didn't play anything - and the grand result is.......still on 3 hours and 6 minutes.

                    I don't get this.

Well Chain Gang, I wanted to follow up the betting theme with Madame Edna Gallmon Cook and her ' Stop Gambler '
but Spots has let us down.

                        What to do ?

                        Just place her here ?

                          Another cracker there, Lat.

                          Q. Gang, should there be a parallel universe for The Chain on here ?

Yes....the voices! 2 hours and 21 minutes though. As soon as the credits return to something substantial, I have 14 gifts in my in-box still to listen to, including what a title suggests might be a cover version of a song by the great Fred Neil.

There already is, was, or will be.

I think the Spotify timer is in a parallel universe. This morning I played some of the tracks I added and didn't play the others - the ones I knew already. The timer went down from 3 hours 6 minutes to 2 hours 24 minutes which was about right.

This afternoon, it is on zero and I haven't done anything else. It just says "upgrade". Looking at various forums, I see that several people are having issues with this. It appears that the new 10 hours per month free limit for example is sub-divided into 2.5 hours per week although I'm not sure that has actually been my experience.

There are all sorts of "beat the timer" products out there too - just download this exe file etc - but this doesn't seem to me to be a sensible way forward.
