I have put myself on a solo walking regime in the past few weeks. During this time, I have taken great pleasure in stopping just to look at horses peering over fences or drinking water from big bowls. Sometimes vehicles appear on the horizon. I sense there are people in them who think the guy in the distance with a woolly hat is about to steal one. At that point I run off into the woods. This indicates that I haven't got a lorry and horsebox just up the dirt track. I have also been stopping to look at some wonderful docile cows which the councillor won't admit have been placed to prevent new housing. That has been easier. Last time they were standing next to fifteen smiley people, a large tea urn and a bonfire. Apparently, the ivy they had chomped through was being burned to ensure tidiness. I saw a bit of that Ball and Boe thing. I felt they were trying to do an odd Morecambe and Wise.
