Check I believe gentlemen, unless you choose the very minor Preposition tactic, unused previously. I'll wait with interest.

Drat, I've found a way out via Shuggie Otis, James Brown, or even Seasick Steve.

Emile my friend what's your position on Dreyfuss? Or, more importantly,
        Spotify...

Richard Dreyfuss as in Third Encounters ? Alfred only had one "s", as in Julia Louis-Dreyfus. But then maybe I'm Gianfranco and not Emile ? Or, more importantly, I haven't yet got to grips with Spotify. Lack of time perhaps. I guess posters here think it well worth the effort ?

Ah good to see a bit of attention to detail. In my opinion we need more Rougon-Macquart, and less Total Eclipse of the Heart.

Spotify - takes a moment to install and a lifetime to listen to.
You then get access to the playlists from this particular board. some of which may be of interest.
For example, this one by McG (now sadly officially missing) England, O England
And your contributions would also be of interest...the chain is only around 3690 tunes long...

              and then again...

              Now there's a challenge...where to go after
Pikku-Orava singing that special version of Mbube, Taysikuubileet off their legendary Satu SeeDee CD.

Knock your synchronicity selves out with that one - or did someone see them in the local doing their Mel Blanc covers.

              I wonder...

(and, btw Lat, thanks for posting that Cassandra Wilson track a while back - ' My Blueberry Nights' is a rather fine album it transpires.)

Cassandra Wilson - Credit where it is due. I was working my way through a bit of the list of all-time female jazz greats which was posted on the jazz board. Pleased you liked her though. I did too. I will catch up on the Mbubes shortly.

Spotty has gone a bit weird of late. For a week or two, I have had a new 10 hour maximum scale that clocks down with every track I play. We knew this was coming. However, today, I have had to accept a detailed licence that has reset the clock at 10 hours and changed the overall format very slightly. Don't know what they are playing at - it would be nice to know how many days I have got to use my 10 hours of credits!

By Jingo, so Ms. W is a cross-over.

As for Spotify, the paid for service is still just the same (not a gloat, just a statement of fact - there are some sound issues), except that I'm now regularly paying over the odds for my broadband service because I exceed the parsimonious limits set by BT.

Now, iPlayer is another topic - all sorts of digital issues there; I'll wait till that nice Chris Patten is in post properly and drop him a note.
                  He's on his way apparently

Are you sure that's Patten? I swear it is Mr Carr on his way to creating another slag heap and a minor earthquake. That boy - he's one of the workers - 2 bob an hour, hours 5am-10pm, lunch bread and dripping - the black and gold thing was once the blanket on his bunk bed but was required to be donated "voluntarily" to an elderly gentleman in need.
