[my second post on this forum about this story - which is even better as I can work a little bit of WM in there too

Hemlock would say that though wouldn't he? Being a somewhat restless, violin-playing, friend of Charlie's... whereas Watson, fresh back from Afghanistan, enjoyed the pleasure of slippers. And the odd relaxing massage from Mrs. H no doubt.

Anyway we digress....?(actually, that's what we're here for). So, pausing only to paste
Basil R & Nigel B and Sir John & Sir Ralph,
let's move onto the very curiously named Scan Tester and absolutely no relation
          Lovely Daisy

Yes GT, I wonder what life would feel like after spending a whole month only listening to recordings made just after 1900 - Lat.

Excellent. I might use that clip each morning to help me to acclimatise. Of course, Sing Something Simple used to rock the slumber from Sunday afternoons:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Now, as soon as you turn on the radiogram, all you get is this:

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

                      I knew that.
                      Whereas...
Barry White was born Barrence Eugene Whitfield in Galveston, Texas[2] and grew up in the high-crime areas of South Central Los Angeles. White was the elder of two brothers; his brother Darryl is 13 months younger. As a child, White grew up listening to his mother's classical music collection. White first took to the piano emulating what he heard on the records. White's introduction to music later led to him playing piano on Jesse Belvin's hit single, "Goodnight My Love". During his teenage years, Barry and his brother got involved with crime and gang activity. At age 17, he was jailed for four months for stealing $30,000 worth of Cadillac tires. He refused to give them up, and later claimed this was the inspiration for his classic song.
He should not be confused with the US Ambassador to Norway, Barry B. White (oddly born Barrynce B Whatfield)

There's these 2 parrots sitting on a perch.
                            1 says to the other
                            'Can you smell fish?'

                              Excellent - I'll use that.

                              reminded me of:
'Mummy, mummy! There's a man at the door with a bill.'
'Don't be silly son. It must be a duck with a hat on.'
