One thing I find interesting about him is that his best songs always leave me wanting more - it's almost like he's created them a verse short - like Randy's saying, I've painted the image; now you go fill in the rest while I go do something else. Like this one -

Less is definitely more with RN. If he posted on this forum, he'd probably only have posted 2 messages, but we'd still be reading them...
~Anyway here's my fascinating factoid about Spotify - did you know that every time you play a track that the artist gets [let's call it] n points worth x pence?
And that the more people on Spotify the number of points [n] stays the same but the value [x] goes up?
Makes me feel better about listening to Spotty but not buying the music.
Oh yes, even if you play a fraction of the track they still get the points...
So could we all play this at least 20 times a day?

Hall of Fame for Allen Toussaint

It would take 4 days to listen to it from end to end as of now.

It is (nearly) spring...in fact according to the squirrel who was ravishing the sycamore it is definitely spring.

Very little escapes my attention. He was spotted on the site towards the end of last night. I think he wants to roam around and do his own thing for a while. Don't believe him if he meets us at around 3pm and says he has just arrived.

Was that you watching me from behind a bush as I bought the wood in?
Anyway PS might like to have a look at his very first Spotify playlist
Global Jukebox - Rock-ola model as half the tracks have now gone AWOL due to DRM* issues. DS&P**.
'The only thing better than a TLA*** is a FLA****' as we like to say in the trade.
* DRM = Digital Rights Management
** DSP = Damn Shame & Pity
*** TLA = Three Letter Acronym
**** FLA = ...you guessed it

GT - You wave the flag that says "Porter Wagoner Fan Club". I'll hold up the pole with the Barrence Whitfield face balloons. On the basis of his performance in "The Chain" tent earlier on, he's already had quite a few Green Green Grass of Sherlocks. - Lat
