Can I have a 10p each-way bet on someone we do know and someone we don't know ?

Hi, I'm looking forward to catching up on all the latest. Most of the houses in this area, including mine, lost phone line and broadband connection between 1am and 7am on Wednesday morning. We are being told that while we might be reconnected tomorrow (Sat) it will probably be Monday.

It feels like being in the middle of outer space but I am catching up on music magazine reading. I can't stay on as I am in someone else's home - one of the few places within a mile that is still connected. However, I will put a quick link in to "The Verb" tonight on the appropriate thread, Lat.

We don't ( yet ) have a broadband connection in furthest cornwall and it's a bit trying - but we're just about to organise heating via a woodburner in the annexe/garage/one-time development sales office/ cabin so maybe I can persuade ...

              PS
John, I thought Wonder Waltz > Wonder Horse was inspired !

I adore El Vez - he actually played here at Trentham Gardens a few years back as support to some massively popular band whose name completely
escapes me - wonderful stuff !!!!!!!!!

We woz worried. You need a dongle...

If you use BT Broadband there is also a 'free' service called BT FON. It does what it says it does. Means you can get wifi in the most surprising places.

#geekystuff as we might say on twttr.

Good to have you back Lat! Chain's at 1095 last I looked - Vieux Farka Toure. Paul sent me a couple of rather excellent tunes - Trio Hermanes Marques is excellent. Hope you've caught the excellent Music Planet in the jungle - terrific, I thought.

Thought I'd give ole tunertoo a makeover, if you fancy a look - I can recommend Adam and Joe's take on the 'Antiques Roadshow'.

                            John,
That was a dead easy winner the Trio Hermanas Maarques BUT that tune isn't my favourite - this is - I lent it to a top Radio 1 in the early 90's so that a few
more folk might get the chance to hear it : Boquita Azucarada ... simply gorgeous.

Ah, remember the days when there were top Radio 1 DJs? Beautiful song Paul!

.....and Global, that was a rather elegant move from Cabaret to Chris Wood that you made there - worthy of Mornington Cres.:cool2:

DUPE ALERT!! We have a dupe in the chain - and it's become beautifully embroidered into the fabric.

                                Do we care?
