I've added a few more - may I wholeheartedly recommend 'red headed Swede' by Skal Klubb which in that spotty way I found while looking for something else - quality!

    Happy Hoggers everybody.

John - Sheer brilliance. It just goes to show what fourteen people can achieve when they put their minds to it. Click on the "members" button to see the wanted pictures of them, kindly donated on this occasion by the music police:

We need them on WO3 - I think Mary Anne would do a grand job interviewing them - what a gas that would be - she'd need to lay on a smorgasbord mind you! Does the Beeb run to that these days?

That is cool. This guy would love it.

I don't know how I missed Arthur Lee. Can we cheat and have the whole of that cd please.

That's one I'd like to hear Global - we never get too far away from the genius that is R Crumb - I've still got a few programmes on tape that he made for Radio3 in that slot around Jazz time a few years back- sheer joy, in that R Crumb type of way.

I'll check out the PM capability on this forum and see what I can do.

Anyway, how's about this for an idea...might work, might not

Looks good. When we go for orange, we must start with this -

A scene from the movie "Brassed Off" For all lovers of brass. The Grimethopre Colliery band play Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. The flugal soloist is Pau...

Well done getting Pete in there, Lat - a very fine actor indeed and that's a very fine film.

Yes John, a great actor and a very good film. Here's the more sensitive side of John Prescott:

John Prescott: Pete's performances inspired me to teach children about climate change and to help rebuild mining communities

                      - and Pete as Pete. A very nice man:

Pete Postlethwaite talks to the Guardian about his new film Age of Stupid, his eco-home in Shropshire, and what he thinks of climate change deniers

JC - the chain is turning into our very own version of Mornington Crescent.

How did you get to Top of The Pops from The Weight? Both have the word 'weight' in them I suppose.

And to The Land of Grey & Pink from Baby Lemonade? Both have the word 'grey' in them I suppose...

Or are you using a reverse Polish strategy? Am I missing something blindingly and Caledonianly obvious?

(I'm guessing you got from Laurie Anderson to the VU's because Lou is (somewhat surprisingly still) married to LA)

I'm loving it even though it's only a two-hander at the moment.

And we've picked up a new subscriber - could Dr. Goon step forward? or even join in

It's that old synchro nicety thing again. I've just added a link - minutes after the very song
came to mind in a note to another fine member of the forum.

Lat steps up with a double whammy first entry...

(careful Lat it's more than usually addictive imo)

                                Staple Singers have Pops Staples.
Syd Barrett was in Pink Floyd.
I went from outer space to Venus - didn't think of the LA/LR connect

I'm loving it - especially finding the inevitable crumb connection.
