I was listening to Bob last night. At ten to three he announced he was going to Nashville and would not be able to do his programme for five weeks "so Ricky Ross is standing in". Delighted but also amazed. Normally, they replace Alan Titchmarsh with Zoe Ball or Chris Evans with Aled Jones. Exactly Global - going for 100 greats, for example, might end up with the collected works of Bechet or something - I thought there might only be one piece per artiste. The thing was that I was listening to a whole album of Trojan instrumentals and you could fill it with that.
