It took me a while Paul, but thanks for the geography lesson - many's the time I'd heard of Shropshire; indeed I'm pretty sure I passed through it in the days when the thumb was king, but I'd never have known - that's travelling without a map for you.......and thanks for my own personal track - most welcome and very fine too!
I used to drive down to Shrewsbury for gigs at The Buttermarket which was a very active place in the 90's -
some cracking acts played there - D L Menard, Barrence Whitfield, John Chibadura, Four Brothers, Thomas Mapfumo
Won't be chaining for the next couple of weeks - heading through the rain to the west via three ferries; Corran, Lochaline and Fionnoport - I'll drop by when I pass the Hotel, but spotify will be out of bounds - now where's the flask and the bucket and spade?

How far West you headed JC? There's a new teashop opened in North Siabost if you fancy getting together for a spot of tea and a lump of fruit cake....
Other news - Tinariwen have been refused entry to Canada, even tho they are touring US at the moment. Bizarre.
I shall boycott all Canadian products for the foreseeable...erm, like what?
Well that's pretty much how I feel now that you and JC are back in the fold ...round 'em up, tie 'em down boys...:cool2: (that's musical tracks I'm referring to, obviously)
Well that's very kind of you to say so Mr GT. I seem to be getting busier and busier these days so
have taken the dangerously radical step of organising a broadband facility down in Cornwall. Should be up and running in a couple of
weeks (should)
My chum who lives in the back of beyond (actually you drive to the back of beyond then travel on another 30 miles...) has gone for the satellite option and is v.chuffed - because 4mb down a dedicated satellite dish is loads faster than 4mb down a shared phone line....
Broadband in the Outer Hebs was a pip and a doddle and meant we could stream music from Spotify in some pretty empty places. I'm pretty sure that was why that particular sheep took such a liking to me (the one that followed me round the lake and then climbed in the car with me) - really just a Diabate fan (as opposed to Lambchop obviously).
