Forebearance or what?
Our remote poster has raised a question about the Haida Rakoum song - anyone know of an English translation? intriguing.
As for bosses....

I'm still quietly proud of my Allan Sherman track though - it's certainly protest innit?
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
I thought Kenny Rogers was a goodie - private protest aimed at the wanton Ruby!
On the Bob front - well I thought you were inviting him; and then I was all upset because I forgot 'Oxford Town', such a gem from Bob's protesting best and I was singing it all afternoon thinking I better get it in there before anyone else...not that it's a competition.

Paul Sherratt
Thanks for the encouragement Global. I've done the deed. And Spotipad tells me I have had around 100 tunes sent to me which didn't appear to me on the not-all-dancing laptop. So thanks y'all and I'll try and catch up ...

Oh well, as JC says, back to the music, and I'm glad you've made it to the other side.
Just as an aside, and I've plugged it elsewhere, this is a gutsy little speaker for the iPAD though.
Bombproof, tempted by the subwoofer currently.Last edited by Globaltruth; 04-02-14, 16:33. Reason: erm, 30W for a portable speaker is quite extraordinary - not just volume, quality too. I'm not on commission btw

Moving on - there is an obvious theme which we've missed. The rain! The floods! And, by the first or second law of Sod as soon as we post a few trax, the rain will stop, the sun will come out and spring will hasten over the hill.
So, better not delay....

Ethiopiques on Spotify
That Ethiopiques show on r4 has reminded me how LITTLE Ethiopiques music there is on Spotify.
Anyone would think it was a minority interest or something. Ha.
Anyway, here's a playlist with everything I can find (a quick trawl plus one or 2 I already knew about).

Feel more than free to add - also, to remove if some of these are stinkers...
