i recommend you all the songs by 1 republic ;)
especially 'everybody loves me' :)
A reminder that the House Rules ban all links in signatures (even non-functioning ones)
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.
Speaking of links, can we have 300 songs on families please, JC?
Lat I made an executiveless decision to hold at 350 family song - you gave us your usual amazing performance =- some fine tunes in there.
Last night I watched '.....If' on the tv - even now, whenever I see Malcolm McDowell I always think I really like him and it was because of this film and the following one that he did, 'O Lucky Man', that I think that - terrific. Made me think that I should have recalled Alan Price's excellent soundtrack for the film for the movie list, but I was too late. Oh well, have a listen to a couple anyway. Must go look the film out again - Arthur Lowe's brilliant in it too.

Paul, thanks once more for the tunes - did you, like me, get the impression that Bob Marley had been listening at some point to that fine Wendy Rene tune?

No problems with Spotty links here, so that's another mystery.
I've also been listening to my inbox, and this feller, sometimes known as Solomon Rogers, has been a lovely warm presence on a miserable grey day where the temperature has crawled briefly above freezing for less than an hour.
For some reason this simple song sounds absolutely fantastic when played through my 'proper' music equipment, maybe the speakers were designed by a highlife aficionado? Quite right too...
In the unforgettable words of the The Who: I can't explain.
But I think I can explain why I'm glad this alternative design for St. Pancras never got off the ground...

Reason: missed out the second comma thus temporarily invalidating my punctuation licence
Great song that My Lovely Elizabeth (actually, all three songs) and a brilliant set of images on it, Global. Loved it. Stay warm down by. It won't be long around. There were a few blackbirds singing like spring was round the corner this morning, and I like to believe them.

Yes, the birds are singing around here too - spring is only about 5 weeks away.
We may have to have a new playlist or 2 to get us there...
