There'll be a connection somewhere but I'm not going to look for it.

I like him. He's best without the politics!

I was a little concerned that his DJ-ing selections didn't often stray outside the USA

True but he's the warm-up act for a woman from southern Asia who is belting live.

                      That's an interesting question, Global.
It would be much easier to answer if I wasn't such a hopeless IT warrior !

All you need is a microphone (there might be one built into your PC - or get a nice little plug in one), a free piece of Software like audacity, , some music in a digital format (I think you may have some of this), some patience to fool about with editing , and some time. :cool2:

Save the resulting meisterwerk as an mp3 file and upload to mixcloud...there isn't much WM up there, DJ Ritu has only garnered a miserly 72 plays so far.

You are guaranteed at least, ooh, 3 listens.

                          Global,
It all looks SO easy on the paper screen.
I do have a microphone, mind you ...
Three listeners ? That local radio place I drop in to from time to time
only dreams of those kind of figures ( I'm NOT joking ! )

I have a new local radio station within a mile. It broadcasts to all of the surrounding cul-de-sacs. They want people and I thought about it for a few seconds.

Then I realised I'd have to play X-factor people to the mates and relatives of aspiring X-factor people, turn up to fetes and say "Hi, how's the world treating you on this wonderful sunny day", and wear t-shirts saying "Fancy doing it in Ibiza?"

                            I'm now considering museum work.
