No further details, other than the above, on the BBC webpage.

This is the last of this year's Proms around Britain. It's something I've welcomed, and the once weekly plan seems to be a good one. I hope it will continue in future years.

Listened earlier this week through the laptop alone to this piano trio "Chamber Music Prom"; very good work from Trio Gaspard, well worth anyone's time. Admittedly, contrasting the relative sprawl of Dame Ethel with Franz Joseph Haydn at his most mature doesn't necessarily do Dame Ethel any favors, but then Haydn did set a very high bar. Will have to listen to this again with the full external speaker setup, being back at the ranch.

Good also that Petroc was back on form as presenter, and seems to have bounced back well post-COVID. I guess the original plan was for him to present all of the "Proms at..." chamber concerts around the UK. As EA says, it will be interesting to see if the "different cities around the UK" experiment continues next season, either with chamber concerts or with larger orchestral events. Or maybe David Pickard will try to have it both ways, with some chamber concerts around the UK and perhaps a mini-return to Cadogan Hall, which is a great venue for chamber music and smaller-sized orchestras.
