    What I heard of the Mozart was ok for me, the clear turkey was Bell/ASMF. Mannered playing from the soloist with tense vibrato lavishly applied to Vivaldi and rhythmically very wooden in the Piazzolla from all concerned. The ensemble was poor at times too although there was occasionally some good playing from the ASMF.

        Agree. There’s something gone seriously amiss with this group under JB. Their 2019 prom had them playing wrong notes in the chords that open Mendelssohn’s Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Neville Marriner would be appalled to hear his creation now.
