Isn't the plural of 'sake' 'Saki'?

How was the actual performance? I think but may be mistaken that Khatia B. was regarded as a fine pianist much addicted to very fast speeds when she first broadcast to the mildly expressed displeasure of several of us including the late Peter Katin.

Would a lost consonant have a heavy or light tread?

There's always been some confusion over the title 'Liebesträum no. 3' as it's the third of three nocturnes, with nos. 1 & 2 not necessarily intended to be given the similar title.

No idea about this particular performance but she does have a habit of playing far too fast and loud (one of my friends would have called her "a thumper"). However, her performance of Liszt's transcription of Schubert's Ständchen (can't do umlauts here) on u-tube is absolutely gorgeous and shows she can play extremely delicately and with great feeling.

I think the umlaut has gone in search of the missing consonant.

Good point - I should have just quoted the Searle number, it would have been easier!!
