TMcK maybe unused to being on TV? A bit nervous, perhaps - and being 'filmed' reading his script from a hand-held prompt?
Camera work excellent, loved the space / studio.
Congrats on technicals.
Clayton singing first-rate, and graceful committed playing.
Yes - for me, a very good deal all round.

Just watched this concert.
I’m surprised more praise isn’t being heaped on Allan Clayton’s singing of Britten’s masterpiece.
It was astonishing I thought.Full marks to Orchestra and conductor too.
The Tchaikovsky Serenade,a piece I love, seemed very good although the music rather passed me by,such was the effect of the Nocturne“Music is the best means we have of digesting time." — Igor Stravinsky

The two Tchaikovsky pieces were fantastic with sumptuous impassioned playing. It seemed as though there were twice the number of players as the sound was so rich. The serenade reminded me of the Barbirolli recording, so heart on the sleeve was the playing. Thank you.
Thank you also Tom McKinney for the no nonsense northern intros. (Are you the Tom at #17? If so, and if not, then welcome and do keep contributing?)
