    Proms 2020 Single-page Listing

Somewhat belatedly I've finally produced a semi-automated single page listing, based on my weekly listings code. As a result the listing will grow as the listings become available. At the moment it's version 4, covering until 31st July.

I'll try to keep a couple of weeks ahead over the season, BBC schedules permitting. One advantage is that it's picked up the additional Afternoon Concert Proms repeats (with a bit of forced programme renaming...). It also includes any other programmes with 'BBC Proms' in the title, for good measure.

I haven't yet included the BBC 4 listings: I might look into that later.

The list is here; the Forum sidebar includes a link to this and also to the 2- and 3- column pdfs.

Thank you for this, Andrew. Greatly appreciated.

Just to complicate things , in my concert threads, I’ve taken the liberty of numbering the 2020 Proms in the way the BBC normally does, extracting a few as “Proms Chamber Music”.

I'm afraid I've ducked out of numbering: it would be too manual, as it would be tricky to automatically number the chamber concerts, not to mention the afternoon concerts and talks which have been brought in, and I'd have to re-edit it on every update from the schedules. I haven't the stamina of you and bluestateprommer!

You'll see that the 'Jump to Prom & Index' facility doesn't work. I've left the menu there in case at some stage the BBC reverts to its normal format and I can use the old extraction program.

Update today to version 5. No substantive changes; mostly tidying-up. However I have added the BBC 4 listings as far as they go at the moment. It's too complicated to interleave them so they're at the end, accessible via the 'Jump to Prom' menu orjust scroll towards the end, or here.

N.B. The dates can be confusing; anything listed on BBC 4 in the early hours of the morning is actually broadcast the day after that implied. (e.g. Friday 00:00 is actually first thing Saturday.)

This covers R3 to 21st August and BBC4 to 9th August.

The link to the listing and pdfs is available in the sidebar or the main listing is here.

I've updated the listing today to version 9.
It should now be complete - I hope - it's needed quite a bit of nursing this year
