The first link in the 1st post in this thread doesn't have any updated material. However, in the following links:
"BBC Four
Opening the series on BBC Four is the 2017 Prom with Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla leading the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, just one year after being appointed Music Director of the ensemble. Amongst other highlights of the Archive Performances on BBC Four is the 2017 Proms debut of Chineke! Orchestra, Europe’s first majority-BME orchestra, with Sheku Kanneh-Mason and Jeanine De Bique as soloists; the highly requested John Wilson Orchestra Prom (2012), the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain under Sir Simon Rattle (2002) and the now-legendary 2007 Proms debut of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, the first South American orchestra to perform at the Proms, presenting a triumphant, bombastic encore after a trademark change of clothes.
Proms on BBC Four – both BBC Prroms Classics archival broadcasts and live content – are produced by Livewire Pictures.
BBC Radio 3
Broadcasts include - among many others - gems such as a 1987 performance of Leonard Bernstein conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme of Mozart and Mahler; a 2000 appearance of opera icon soprano Jessye Norman with the London Sinfonietta, presenting the UK premiere of Judith Weir’s woman.life.song and the Proms premiere of Arnold Schoenberg’s 6 Brettl Lieder; Daniel Barenboim leading the ensembles he has nurtured and brought to international acclaim: the Staatskapelle Berlin in Wagner’s Die Walküre with a stellar cast of soloists such as Bryn Terfel, Nina Stemme and Simon O’Neill (part of the conductor’s 2013 Proms Ring Cycle); and the West–Eastern Divan Orchestra with celebrated pianist Martha Argerich in 2016, presenting Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and an all-Wagner second half (this particular performance will also be presented on BBC Four).
Also on the airwaves as part of the Proms archives is Bernard Haitink conducting the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and the late Dmitri Hvorostovsky in Verdi’s Don Carlo."
"Organisers of the world’s biggest classical music festival on Friday released details for what will be the 125th anniversary year of summer concerts and likely the strangest season in its history.
Before the fortnight of live proms there will be six weeks of “fantasy proms” from the archives broadcast on BBC Four, Radio 3 and iPlayer.
Live and audience-free proms begin on 28 August and will feature each of the BBC orchestras. Sakari Oramo will conduct the opening live concert while the Finnish conductor Dalia Stasevska will be on last night duties."

Very pleased indeed to see the legendary 1987 VPO/Bernstein Mahler 5 Prom (Aug 26) and the 1991 LPO/Tennstedt Beethoven 9 (Sept 11) amongst the archive repeats. I was present at both of those (as well as several other of the repeats) and don't think I've ever head the Tennstedt since.
A pity, though, that there is nothing prior to 1987. There were some excellent Proms from the 1970s that sound as fine, if not finer, than anything since.
Of the TV Proms, the 2002 Rattle Mahler 8 is the undoubted highlight for me."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

I'm afraid the thought of revisiting a Prom I'd paid close attention to, revisiting it and reviewing it..... doesn't appeal much..... the further back they go the better really, but...."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

The RCO/Chailly and BRSO/Jansons repeats on July 22 & 23 could be either one of two so will have to wait and see with those."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink
