As for tailing off in #79, that's what Claudio used to do in rehearsals... (Have you ever played under Abbado, Bernstein, Tennstedt, Masur, Haitink...? Or am I tailing off again?)
It was never my intention to be rude or intemperate to you and I humbly apologise. The point I was clumsily trying to make was as teenagers we often think others, in our own opinion, gain favours ahead of us by examiners and interviewers who are biased against us for whatever reason, eg wrong school, wrong teacher, when really as students it’s not out place to judge. Later in life perhaps to look back with more wisdom and discernment.
Fantastic list, though mine not so worldly prestigious maybe (Dorati, Hurst, Groves, Loughran, Downes, Leppard, Mackerras, Hickox.......) trailing off

In given repertoire I would think the likes of Dorati, Hurst, Groves, Loughran, Downes, Mackerras and Hickox qualified as sans pareil.

I would never play "under" anyone
I might work alongside at times

I'll be interested to see how the recording comes out. It seemed to settle down about halfway through the balcony scene, to my mind. Also, I thought the programming was all over the place: I kept wondering what the logic was in switching from B to Q to F, say, because I couldn't see that there was any. It was quite dizzy-making leaping from one act to another and back again!
I have to say, it did sound rather better when I listened to it on the radio than when I was in the Hall! But I do stick to what I said about the unison at times.
